DiscreetFX Commits to Mac OS X Development and Releases Its First Product For OS X

Chicago, Illinois – April 29th, 2005 -- Visual FX company DiscreetFX
LLC Inc., releases it's first Mac OS X product on the release day of
Mac OS X Tiger. Even before the release of Tiger DiscreetFX was
evaluating additional operating systems and video editing systems to add support for. Towards the end of 2004 we acquired our first G5 PowerMac and were very impressed with the performance, lack of spy-ware ad-ware and breathtaking speed & stability. It was a relief and productive boost for development. Mac OS X already has support from many powerful cutting edge software like Lightwave 3D 8.0 from Newtek. DiscreetFX is very happy to now add support for this operating system. For more information about our available and in development visual effects tools for OS X please consult the following page.
